Tasting Classes
BarSide Chat: Focus on Languedoc-Roussillon – ONLY 4 Tickets Available
Sunday, February 8 at 11:30am
Winemaker Kieran Robinson and Sommelier John Brewer discuss the Languedoc-Roussillon region, France’s under appreciated southern region on the Mediterranean Sea. Languedoc-Roussillon is known for many of the same varieties as the Rhone; and wines from the region often represent significant value for their high quality. Tasting includes at least six wines representing some of the best styles of the region.
💗 💗 BarSide Chat: Dessert Wines 💗 💗
Sunday, February 14 at 11:30am
Celebrate Valentines’ Day with sweet wines! Dessert wines are usually consumed at the end of a meal and are defined by their sugars and higher than usual alcohol. Sommelier John Brewer & winemaker Kieran Robinson will go in-depth with the winemaking techniques that elevate dessert wines to distinguish them from the merely sweet wines. We’ll explore grapes left to freeze, grapes set out to raisin and the magic of Noble Rot. Tasting includes six wines and a snack!
BarSide Chat: Wines of the East Coast
Sunday, February 22 at 11:30am
Discover the Wines of the U.S. East Coast – From the cool-climate vineyards of New York to the historic rolling hills of Virginia, the East Coast is producing some of the most exciting and distinctive wines in the United States. In this class, we’ll explore the diverse wine regions of New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia, examining how climate, soil, and grape varieties shape the styles found along the Atlantic seaboard.
Classes are $100 per person. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Classes are limited to 12 attendees.
